Founded in 1929, Zetland Park Methodist Church exists to rejoice in the love of God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To this end, we are committed to building up a fellowship of Christian love that embraces all ages, and, through our prayer, property and our activity, to serving the people of the locality in which we are set.
In 2006 we undertook an extensive refurbishment programme throughout the church and adjacent hall, allowing for greater flexibility in worship as we seek to serve our God. Our style of worship varies including more traditional style worship through to Songs of Praise and Café services about once a quarter. Visitors are always welcome to come and join us at one of our Sunday services or throughout the week.
We are very blessed to have Sunday Squad, our Sunday School, encouraging the children to learn more about God and his son Jesus Christ, through friendship, games, and learning together. Every week they join us at the start of the service and then leave for their own activities.
We have a number of regular events throughout the week, including the Community Luncheon Club, Wednesday Fellowship, Thursday@Church and Friday Prayer & Meditation. These events allow us to support and encourage each other in the faith, encouraging us on our walks with Christ.
