Methodists have been worshipping God in Saltburn-by-the-Sea since 1850. We exist to worship and serve God and make His love known in the world.
The original building, built in 1865 and forming part of the current church, was succeeded by the current church in 1905. There were two Methodist Churches in Saltburn until they amalgamated in 1969/70, the other being on Albion Terrace is now the Community Hall/Centre. Compared to some towns and villages in the Circuit, we are a relatively ‘new’ town having celebrated the 150th anniversary of the railway last year, from which the town evolved to become a popular seaside resort.
Visitors are always welcome to our church community and can expect traditional-style services with a Sunday School catering for children aged 3yrs and upwards in the morning.
We have a number of different groups meeting within the week as can be seen below and for more information on the events we have coming up please click here for the latest edition of The Link, our bi-monthly church magazine.
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our services or groups soon!
