Nestled within the dales of the North York Moors National Park and set on the banks of the River Esk, Lealholm is a small village with a rich history. Over the years it has inspired many an artist and poet, not least John Castillo, a famous local artist/stonemason/poet in the 18th Century.
Worship has taken place in our current building since 1839 and over that time we have built up a strong reputation of giving a warm welcome to visitors, many of whom have become regular attenders. We enjoy working with the other Christians in the village with a strong relationship with the Catholic Church, regularly supporting each others’ events, working together as the Body of Christ in the village.
Unfortunately our Sunday School disbanded a few years ago but we do welcome people of any age to our service on a Sunday. From November through to April we have our Wesley Guild meeting every Thursday, which is open to all.
10.30am – Morning worship
Wesley Guild – every Tuesday from November to April, at 7.15pm
